A local Austin hospital that focuses on Community Care and Ambulatory healthcare services needed to implement Epic from an older system. They needed a team of contractors to step in and help with their implementation to complete analysis, design, build, test, go-live support, and provide training for their current IT team.
Planet Technology had been partnering with the facility since 2020 and provided over 20 consultants to help them with their Epic implementation. We provided a team to step in and help with the following solutions:
Planet technology provided 17 contractors to the local Austin hospital over a period of a year to help with the implementation. We then provided aftercare support and placed an additional 4 resources. Once Epic was implemented, we then deployed 3 additional contractors to support their professional billing application and Cogito application. Planet Technology supported the healthcare facility during their implementation, after go-live and optimization. We still have contract resources deployed and the client has recommended Planet Technology to other departments throughout the facility.
