A global investment advisor with over 7.7 trillion assets under management had not been able to identify a consistent pipeline of Workday contract resources to complement their in-house HRIS Team. They contacted Workday directly for a referral to a company who could help them with staffing these resources.
A Managing Partner at Workday reached out to Planet Technology’s Enterprise division to give an overview of the customer’s needs and strategize on a solution. Planet Technology was subsequently introduced to the customer’s Global Workday Lead, and over the course of three years, provided over 10 Workday-specific contract resources focusing on Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Payroll, and HCM Integrations. These consultants manned a Workday support desk, split up by their module area of expertise, responding to trouble tickets and working on internal enhancement projects.
More recently, the customers’ procurement team took notice of Planet Technology’s success with Workday contract staffing and extended an invitation to assist with their Core IT staffing team as well. Planet Technology’s Core Tech division was introduced and has since placed 3 Java/AWS Backend Engineers, and a Data Engineer.
Planet Technology provided 14 different resources in total to the global investment advisor to help with their Workday and Core Technology staffing needs. We helped to establish a well-skilled Workday team that was ready to step into the roles needed immediately to help the client start processing and troubleshooting tickets.
Planet Technology continues to have a good state of engagement with the client. We are their go-to vendor for Workday staffing needs and will provide them with additional contract resources when they are needed in the future.
