BOSTON, MA (April 1, 2021) — The Planet Group, Planet Technology’s parent company, was named today by the Boston Business Journal as one of the “Largest Temporary Placement Firms” and one of the “Largest Executive (Contingency) Search Firms” in Massachusetts.
Twenty-two staffing companies were included on the Largest Temporary Placement Firms list on which The Planet Group ranked fifth. This is the first year that The Planet Group has participated in the list. For 17 years prior, Planet’s WinterWyman division (now Planet Technology and Planet Professional) has received recognition. Results were determined by the average number of temps supplied daily in Massachusetts.
The Planet Group also achieved a fifth-place ranking on the Largest Executive (Contingency) Search Firm list. In total, twenty-two recruitment firms made the list which was determined by Massachusetts’ contingency and retained search firm revenue. The BBJ defines executive search as the placement of individuals in full-time executive-level jobs paying at least $100,000/year.
